Common questions
How does pricing work?
You pay one monthly total for your game server. That total includes isolated VPS infrastructure for your chosen region and size, plus Jovian managed hosting (setup, monitoring, backups, and support). Infrastructure prices differ by location — we show the full monthly total before checkout.
Do I choose the cloud provider?
No. You choose the region closest to your players, and Jovian selects the infrastructure provider for that location.
How do I connect to my game server?
Use the IP address and port from your dashboard once provisioning completes. Each game has specific connection steps; check your server details page or open a support ticket if you need help.
How do I install mods or plugins?
Open a support ticket with the mods or plugins you want. We handle installation and configuration on your server as part of managed hosting. Mod support depends on the game — contact us if you are unsure what is possible.
How long does provisioning take?
Most servers are online within 15–30 minutes after payment. You will receive an email when your server is ready and can track progress from your dashboard.
Can you help me migrate from another host?
Yes. Open a support ticket with your current host details and we will guide you through moving your world or server files to your new isolated VPS.
Do you include DDoS protection?
Network-level DDoS mitigation from our infrastructure providers is included with every server. It is not a guarantee against every attack or against downtime.
