Terms of Service

Jovian Games provides fully managed game server hosting. Each active subscription is provisioned on an isolated virtual server with reserved resources. We handle infrastructure setup, monitoring, backups, and platform maintenance. You choose a geographical region; we select the infrastructure provider for that location.

Features, server sizes, regions, and pricing may change over time. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that affect an active subscription.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity under your account.

Provide accurate registration information and notify us promptly via our contact page if you suspect unauthorized access.

Services are billed monthly unless otherwise stated at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

Prices include infrastructure for your selected server size and region plus Jovian Games managed hosting shown at checkout. Taxes may apply where required by law.

Cancel from your dashboard to stop future charges. Access continues through the end of the paid period unless we terminate service earlier under these Terms.

New customers may request a full refund within forty-eight (48) hours of their first order if the service is not a fit. Refund requests after that window are handled at our discretion except where required by law.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate applicable law or third-party rights
• Distribute malware or launch denial-of-service attacks
• Send spam, phishing content, or abusive bulk communications
• Host illegal content, IP-infringing material, or content exploiting minors
• Mine cryptocurrency or run unrelated workloads without written approval
• Resell the Service in a way that competes with Jovian Games without authorization

We may suspend or terminate service when we reasonably believe your use poses legal, security, or operational risk.

You retain ownership of game worlds, mods, configs, and other data on your server. You grant us a limited license to host, back up, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service.

You are responsible for game licenses, player moderation, and software you install. We do not pre-screen player content or conduct on your server.

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, provider outages, and factors outside our control may cause downtime.

Support is available through our Support Center. Response times may vary by issue severity.

Daily automated backups are included as a convenience, not a guarantee. Maintain your own copies of critical data. We are not liable for loss or corruption of customer content except where prohibited by law.

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate for non-payment, breach of these Terms, abuse, or legal requirement. We may delete customer content after a reasonable retention period following termination.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOVIAN GAMES DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOVIAN GAMES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

You agree to defend and hold harmless Jovian Games from claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country apply.
