How to Connect to a 7 Days to Die Server
Join your 7 Days to Die server, invite friends, and check common connection problems.
Open Dashboard → Servers, choose Manage on your server, and find Connection. Use IPv4 for the game’s IP/address box. For its port box, use the number after : in Address.
Connect
- Launch 7 Days to Die and select Join a Game.
- Select Connect to IP.
- Enter your server’s IPv4 and port, then connect.
- Enter the server’s player password when asked.
Invite friends
Share the IPv4, port, and player password. Friends also need the same game version and any client mods required by your server.
If you cannot join
Check that you and the server use the same release, especially after an update. If you use mods, ask the owner which ones players need.
Still stuck? Check the server’s status in Jovian, allow startup time, then contact Support with its ID and the error message.
