Project Zomboid Server Setup
Choose the server name and administrator credentials Jovian uses when provisioning Project Zomboid.
Project Zomboid needs a few values before Jovian can finish configuring your server.
Server name
The Server Name is used internally by Project Zomboid for its save and configuration files. Use letters and numbers only and keep it under 64 characters.
Because the name is tied to the server's save/config namespace, choose it before you begin playing and avoid changing it casually later.
Admin username
Choose the username you want to use for the initial Project Zomboid administrator account. Keep it under 20 characters.
Admin password
Choose a strong password for the administrator account. The current server configuration accepts passwords up to 32 characters.
Treat this as a secret. Do not reuse a password from Steam, Jovian, email, or another account.
During Jovian setup
When Game Setup asks for these values, enter the server name, admin username, and admin password you want Jovian to apply during provisioning.
After provisioning completes, keep the administrator credentials somewhere secure. You will need them when using Project Zomboid's administrator features.
