How to Connect to a Vintage Story Server

Open Dashboard → Servers, choose Manage on your server, and find Connection. Copy Address, including the colon and number at the end.

Connect

1. Open Multiplayer → Add New Server in Vintage Story.
2. Enter a name and the Address.
3. Save the entry, select it, and join. Enter the server password if asked.
4. If the game offers required server mods, review the list and accept the download to continue.

Invite friends

Share the address and player password, if used. Friends sign in with their own Vintage Story accounts and need compatible game and mod versions.

If you cannot join

Check the required game version before joining. If a required mod cannot be downloaded automatically, ask the owner which version to install.

Still stuck? Check the server’s status in Jovian, allow startup time, then contact Support with its ID and the error message.
