How to Connect to a Core Keeper Server
Join your Core Keeper server, invite friends, and check common connection problems.
You’ll need your server’s Game ID. It is different from its world name and from the Address shown in Jovian. The current dashboard does not display a Game ID; ask the owner or Jovian Support for it.
Connect
- Start Core Keeper and select Join Game.
- Enter the Game ID supplied for your server.
- Choose your character and join the world.
Invite friends
Share the Game ID privately with the people you want to invite. It is the information they use to enter your world.
If you cannot join
Copy the entire Game ID with no extra spaces. Check that everyone uses a compatible game version and required mods. If your server uses direct-IP mode instead, ask Support to confirm that mode and its join details; do not put a dashboard address into the Game ID field.
Still stuck? Check the server’s status in Jovian, allow startup time, then contact Support with its ID and the error message.
See World Name and Game ID. If your order is labelled Pugstorm, ask Support to confirm that it is a Core Keeper server before following these steps.
